TCC Upgrades Its Organizational Structure!

TALISAY CITY, Cebu — Talisay City College (TCC) begun to remodel its internal institutional structures last July 1, 2016, during the Presidential induction of Dr. Richel N. Bacaltos. It was believed to be the commencement of another opportunity for the Talisalites to regain back its academic prestige that it once had for almost a decade ago.

Student Affairs Service (SAS) office assistant, Ms. Nhikie M Del Socorro, reported that TCC has managed to install the following offices for just less than 2 years: these are Guidance Center for relevant response to both academic and non-academic needs of the students; Student Affairs and Services Office to support students for the furtherance of their development; Research and Community Extension Office, Maintenance Department, and Safety and Security Office.

Added to that is the creation of New Student Organizations for each department (both academic and non-academic) has now been inaugurated. The Supreme Student Council also is now given considerable support and autonomy; and finally, the restructuring of physical facilities is being given a fair amount of consideration thereby making TCC be qualified for CHED's (Commission on Higher Education) upcoming evaluation.

These newly established offices, historically, were not established in TCC for over the past two decades. But due to the consolidate effort of the new administration, they were able to set up these offices serving to maximize the efficiency of the school in dealing various problems.

While the former administration puts premium on the continuing implementation of proper military discipline as well as the perpetuity of the school culture and its practices, the new administration, in turn, attempts to upgrade the holistic layers of the institution itself.
