Talisay City College (TCC) just launched a 7-day In-Service Training (INSET) for teachers last May 2017 in preparation for the Academic Year. The fundamental purpose thereof, in general, according to TCC SAS office assistant, Ms. Nhikie M. Del Socorro , is primarily to equip teachers with knowledge and skills thereby making them competent to train students holistically.  "It is a 7-day training targeting the top priorities needed by the teacher and the topic [sic.] were based on the survey conducted by the research and faculty development office," she said.  Although it has been the culture of TCC to conduct INSET, on a regular basis, as the sine qua non for teachers' orientation, The current President, Dr. Richel N. TALISAY CITY, Cebu — Talisay City College (TCC) begun to remodel its internal institutional structures last July 1, 2016, during the Presidential induction of Dr. Richel N. Bacaltos . It was believed to be the commencement of another opportunity for the Talisalites to regain back its academic prestige that it once had for almost a decade ago. Student Affairs Service (SAS) office assistant, Ms. Nhikie M Del Socorro , reported that TCC has managed to install the following offices for just less than 2 years: these are —   Guidance Center  for relevant response to both academic and non-academic needs of the students;  Student Affairs and Services Office to support students for the furtherance of their development;  Research and Community Extension Office, Maintenance Department, and Safety and Security Office.  Added to that is the creation of New Student Organizations for each department (both academic and non-academic) has now been inaugurated.
